U.S. Natural gas (NG) prices hit a 13-year rising over 5% on Monday after a 10% climb last week.
Indian NG prices also ended higher on Monday.
Demand remains strong, but natural gas arrivals at LNG terminals were flat compared to Friday.
On Monday, week over week, natural gas arrivals at LNG terminals were 4% higher.
The weather is expected to be much colder than average and this scenario will increase heating demand and lent support.
U.S. NG prices have started higher this early Tuesday morning in Asian trade supported by cooling demand and higher LNG exports from the U.S.
Today's range for NG May contract is $6.830-$6.355.
Domestic NG prices could start stronger this Tuesday morning tracking a positive start in the overseas prices.
Today's range for NG April contract is 512.25-483.85.
