Royal Enfield Motorcycles posts 2% YoY sales growth in March 2022

Eicher Motors Ltd has announced the sales figures of Royal Enfield motorcycles for the month of March 2022. The company has sold 67,677 motorcycles during March 2022, as compared to 66,058 units in March 2021, registering an increase of 2% YoY.

The company has sold 55,653 units of models with engine capacity upto 350cc in March 2022 as against 58,471 units in March 2021, down by 5% YoY.

The company has sold 12,024 units of models with engine capacity exceeding 350cc during March 2022 as compared to 7,587 units in March 2021, an increase of 58% YoY.

Exports stood at 9,200 units in March 2022 as against 5,885 units in March 2021, an increase of 56% YoY.

In FY 2021-22, the company has sold 6,02,268 units as against 6,12,350 units in FY 2020-21, YoY drop of 2%.

Shares of Eicher Motors Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 2482.70 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 2460.45. The total number of shares traded during the day was 21484 in over 2878 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 2494.20 and intraday low of 2424.05. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 53006823.00.
