Welspun India arm commences operations from March 12, 2022

Welspun India Limited had earlier announced the revision of the Advanced Materials Project being set-up through Welspun Advanced Materials (India) Limited ("WAMIL"), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company. WAMIL has commenced its operations with effect from March 12, 2022.

WAMIL's facilities at Telangana has installed capacity of 17,729 MTPA of Spunlace with estimated revenue of Rupees 370 Crore per annum at around full capacity utilisation.

Shares of Welspun India Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 107.65 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 111.50. The total number of shares traded during the day was 413838 in over 2617 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 112.00 and intraday low of 107.15. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 44942440.00.
