Bajaj Auto Limited has announced the sales performance for the month of February 2022. The company has reported total sales of 316,020 units in February 2022 as against 375,017 units in February 2021, registering a drop of 16% YoY. The company clocked exports sales of 203,273 units during February 2022, 3% lower than 210,206 units in February 2021. The domestic sales declined 32% to 112,747 in February 2022 as against 164,811 units in February 2021.
Commercial Vehicles sales dropped 14% YoY to 36,683 units in February 2022, as compared to 42,454 in February 2021. Exports of Commercial Vehicles was at 20,459 units in February 2022, as against 26,577 in February 2021. Domestic sales of Commercial Vehicles increased 2% in February 2022 to 16,224 units as compared to 15,877 units in February 2021.
The company has sold 279,337 units of two-wheelers during February 2022, as compared to 332,563 in February 2021, a drop of 16% YoY. Exports of motorcycles was down YoY at 182,814 in February 2022, as against 183,629 in February 2021. The domestic sales of motorcycles declined 35% YoY to 96,523 units in February 2022 as compared to 148,934 units in February 2021.
