Fire incident at Astral Limited's subsidiary factory at Santej, Gujarat

Astral Limited has announced that a fire broke out in the factory premises of its subsidiary Company viz. Resinova Chemie Limited situated at Santej, Gujarat in early hours of 27th February, 2022. The fire broke out in the storage section of the factory premises and the manufacturing section of the factory was not affected by the fire. The fire was brought under control by the fire department.

There were no injuries or causalities due to the incident.

Though the production is temporary affected, there is no significant financial loss due to production disruption. The expected financial loss is sufficiently covered by the insurance.

Shares of Astral Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 1907.75 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1783.50. The total number of shares traded during the day was 41227 in over 7603 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1918.80 and intraday low of 1820.95. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 77100914.00.
