JSW Steel Group Crude Steel Production volume at 5.35 MT in Q3 FY22

JSW Steel reported group combined crude steel production at 5.35 million tonnes for Q3 FY22, including the production at jointly controlled entity viz. JSW Ispat Special Products Ltd. (JISPL) The production reported growth of 6% QoQ from 5.07MT in Q2FY22 and 28% YoY from 4.18MT in Q3FY21.

During Q3'22, the capacity utilisation of existing operations at standalone level was at 94%.

Bhushan Power & Steel Ltd.'s production for Q3'22 was lower mainly due to shutdown of Continuous Strip Plant for 10 days for upgrading automation.

Shares of JSW Steel Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 671.75 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 672.30. The total number of shares traded during the day was 317699 in over 2485 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 679.35 and intraday low of 670.05. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 214511621.00.
