Aravali Securities not to proceed with demerger

Aravali Securities & Finance Ltd has announced that the Board or Directors of the Company has decided not to proceed with the proposed scheme of arrangement and demerger as earlier approved by them in their meeting held on February 24, 2006 in view of the same being not approved by the regulatory authorities and further advising the Company not to proceed with the aforesaid scheme as per their letter dated September 29, 2006.
