UTI AMC appoints Mr. Anurag Mittal as Deputy Head - Fixed Income

UTI Asset Management Company Limited (UTI AMC) has appointed Mr. Anurag Mittal as Executive Vice President and the Deputy Head - Fixed Income for its mutual fund operations with effect from October 25, 2021.

Regarding the appointment, Mr. Imtaiyazur Rahman, Chief Executive Officer, UTI AMC said "We are very pleased that Mr. Anurag Mittal is joining the UTI family. Mr. Mittal joins UTI AMC with over a decade of experience in the Fund Management, Dealing and Research. He previously held the office of Associate Director at IDFC Asset Management Company Private Limited and managed key IDFC debt mutual fund schemes. Prior to this, he was associated with HDFC Asset Management Company Limited as Senior Manager - Investments and Axis Asset Management Company Limited as Fund Manager - Investments, responsible for Fund Management, Dealing and Research.

Mr. Mittal is a Chartered Accountant affiliated with Institute of Chartered Accountant of India and holds a Master Degree in Accounting & Finance with specialization in Finance from London School of Economics.

Shares of UTI Asset Management Company Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 1067.60 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1041.55. The total number of shares traded during the day was 9923 in over 1472 trades.
