In compliance with order issued by Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB), Lasa Supergenerics Ltd have temporarily stopped its manufacturing activities.
Closure order issued by state pollution closure board is abrupt with no base and the company has already denied all the allegations made in it.
The company has also approached Bombay High Court for interference in the matter since this closure is issued in the instance of alleged complaint by political influencers with no base and it expects positive outcome in the matter soon.
Till the company gets restart order it is trying to maintain potential business by outsourcing production stages which are interrupted to cater the existing customers and make best use of raw material inventory.
The matter is already taken up in the court for which it is expecting positive outcome soon.
Shares of Lasa Supergenerics Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 73.65 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 72.50. The total number of shares traded during the day was 19763 in over 540 trades.
The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 75.15 and intraday low of 72.10. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 1453502.00.
