Royal Enfield Motorcycles reports 44% YoY drop in September 2021 sales

Eicher Motors Ltd has announced the sales figures of Royal Enfield motorcycles for the month of September 2021. The company has sold 33529 motorcycles during September 2021, as compared to 60331 units in August 2020, registering a drop of 44% YoY.

The company has sold 25520 units of models with engine capacity upto 350cc in September 2021 as against 54434 units in September 2020, down by 53% YoY.

The company has sold 8009 units of models with engine capacity exceeding 350cc during September 2021 as compared to 5897 units in September 2020, an increase of 36% YoY.

Exports stood at 6296 units in September 2021 as against 4131 units in September 2020, an increase of 52% YoY.

Shares of Eicher Motors Ltd. was last trading in BSE at Rs. 2772.35 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 2791.95. The total number of shares traded during the day was 41794 in over 4327 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 2793.6 and intraday low of 2754.2. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 115825899.
