Royal Enfield Motorcycles reports sales of 45,860 units in August 2021

Eicher Motors Ltd has announced the sales figures of Royal Enfield motorcycles for the month of August 2021. The company has sold 45860 motorcycles during August 2021, as compared to 50144 units in August 2020, registering a drop of 9% YoY.

The company has sold 38572 units of models with engine capacity upto 350cc in August 2021 as against 46357 units in August 2020, down by 17% YoY.

The company has sold 7288 units of models with engine capacity exceeding 350cc during August 2021 as compared to 8210 units in August 2020, a decrease of 11% YoY.

Exports stood at 6790 units in August 2021 as against 2573 units in August 2020, an increase of 164% YoY.

Shares of Eicher Motors Ltd. was last trading in BSE at Rs. 2701.15 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 2679.5. The total number of shares traded during the day was 246956 in over 11330 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 2765 and intraday low of 2674.25. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 676392123.
