Eicher Motors Ltd's August 2021 sales volume jumps 93.5% YoY

Eicher Motors Ltd has announced the sales figures for Eicher Trucks and Buses & Volvo Trucks for the month of August 2021. The company has sold 4793 vehicles during August 2021, as against 2477 in August 2020 registering a growth of 93.5% YoY.

The company has sold 4667 Eicher Trucks and Buses in August 2021, as compared to 2440 in August 2020, growth of 91.3% YoY. The domestic sales of Eicher Trucks and Buses stood at 3864 units in August 2021, 76.4% higher than 2190 units in August 2020. The exports of Eicher Trucks and Buses increased 221.2% YoY to 803 units in August 2021, as compared to 250 units in August 2020.

The company has sold 126 Volvo Trucks during August 2021, a growth of 240.5% YoY as against 37 units in August 2020.

Shares of Eicher Motors Ltd. was last trading in BSE at Rs. 2679.5 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 2551.15. The total number of shares traded during the day was 52985 in over 5382 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 2697.75 and intraday low of 2545.8. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 138800695.
