Spicejet Ltd board approves fund raising of Rs. 2500 crores

The Board of Directors of SpiceJet Limited at its meeting held on June 30, 2021, has, authorised to seek enabling approval of shareholders of the Company (which will be valid for 365 days) for raising fresh capital of upto Rs. 25,00,00,00,000 (Rupees Twenty Five Hundred Crore only) through issue of eligible securities to qualified institutional buyers, in accordance with the relevant provisions of applicable law and subject to receipt of applicable regulatory approvals, as may be required.

Shares of SPICEJET LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.78.05 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 80. The total number of shares traded during the day was 444370 in over 3191 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 80.3 and intraday low of 77.8. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 34932092.
