Bajaj Auto Limited posts 24% YoY growth in sales during June 2021

Bajaj Auto Limited has announced the sales performance for the month of June 2021. The company has reported total sales of 346,136 units in June 2021 as against 278,097 units in June 2020, registering a growth of 24% YoY. The company clocked exports sales of 184,300 units during June 2021, 45% higher than 126,908 units in June 2020. The domestic sales increased 7% to 161,836 in June 2021 as against 151,189 units in June 2020.

The company has sold 310,578 units of two-wheelers during June 2021, as compared to 255,122 in June 2020, an increase of 22% YoY. Exports of motorcycles was 43% higher YoY at 154,938 in June 2021, as against 108,427 in June 2020. Whereas, the domestic sales of motorcycles increased just 6% YoY to 155,640 units in June 2021 as compared to 146,695 units in June 2020.

Commercial Vehicles sales increased 55% YoY to 35,558 units in June 2021, as compared to 22,975 in June 2020. Exports of Commercial Vehicles was at 29,362 units in June 2021, as against 18,481 in June 2020. Domestic sales of Commercial Vehicles increased 38% in June 2021 to 6,196 units as compared to 4,494 units in June 2020.

Shares of BAJAJ AUTO LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.4209 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 4133.15. The total number of shares traded during the day was 26602 in over 3351 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 4250 and intraday low of 4140. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 112168134.
