Sundram Fasteners Ltd contributes Rs. 2 crores to Tamil Nadu State Disaster Management Authority

Sundram Fasteners Limited has contributed a sum of Rs 2 Crores to Tamil Nadu State Disaster Management Authority to support the nation's fight against the Covid-19 Pandemic.

The Company is closely working with multiple NGOs for setting up Covid-19 healthcare facilities as well as supply of medical care equipment to hospitals. The Company has also contributed towards the supply of critical medical care equipment such as oxygen concentrators, oxygen cylinders, ventilators, oxygen flow meters and oxygen masks to hospitals. The Company also extended its support by supplying masks, shields, gloves, sanitisers to hospitals to provide relief to the vulnerable and most needy sections of society.

In connection with the above, the Company has so far spent a sum aggregating to Rs 1.50 Crores towards various COVID-19 relief measures.

The Company has ensured the first dose of vaccination for 100% of all the employees aged above 45 and hopes to completely vaccinate the employees with the second dose in due course. The Company has also initiated steps to completely vaccinate its employees aged below 45 as the availability of vaccine increases.

Sundram Fasteners Limited places on record its deep appreciation of the contribution being made by its employees in ensuring that the relief materials reach the people, whose livelihood has been severely impacted.

Shares of SUNDRAM FASTENERS LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.774.55 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 786.4. The total number of shares traded during the day was 9121 in over 993 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 793.45 and intraday low of 770. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 7105769.
