Government of India formally sealed Rs. 48,000 crore deal with Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd

The Government of India today formally sealed the deal of around Rs. 48,000 Crore (inclusive of taxes and duties of around Rs. 7,000 Crore; infrastructure and design & development cost of around Rs. 2,300 Crore) for procuring 73 indigenous LCA Tejas Mk-1A fighter aircraft and 10 LCA Tejas Mk-1 trainer aircraft from Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd.

Shares of Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs.964.8 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 933.35. The total number of shares traded during the day was 48404 in over 3053 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 977 and intraday low of 951. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 46630723.
