TVS Motor Company launches a new technology platform, TVS intelliGO

TVS Motor Company, a reputed manufacturer of two-wheelers and threewheelers in the world, today introduced a new platform - TVS intelliGO. The technology aims at providing comfortable, convenient and an environment-friendly ride experience to TVS Motor Company customers.

TVS intelliGO enhances the riding comfort, mileage and reduces emissions by intelligently switching off the engine during long idling like traffic signals and other transient stops. The vehicle is ready to go by a simple throttle rev which enhances convenience. The technology also helps avoid fuel wastage during these stops and reduces emissions. TVS IntelliGo technology will debut on TVS Jupiter, thus making it the first 110cc scooter in the industry to come with this technology.

The TVS Jupiter is equipped with Ecothrust Fuel injection (ET-Fi) technology which delivers 15% better mileage, better startability, refinement, and durability. The scooter has LED headlamp, 2-litre glove box, mobile charger and 21-litre storage. The adjustable shock absorbers further enhance riding convenience. TVS Jupiter's 110cc engine generates a maximum power of 5.5 kW at 7000 rpm while producing a maximum torque of 8.4Nm at 5500 rpm.

TVS Jupiter ZX Disc with TVS intelliGO is priced at Rs. 72,347 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and available in the colour selection of Starlight Blue and Royal Wine.

Shares of TVS MOTOR COMPANY LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.577.5 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 560.2. The total number of shares traded during the day was 547156 in over 5887 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 587 and intraday low of 553.1. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 309175394.
