Bajaj Auto Limited has announced the sales performance for the month of December 2020. The company has reported total sales of 372,532 units in December 2020 as against 336,055 units in December 2019, registering a growth of 11% YoY. The company clocked exports sales of 232,926 units during December 2020, 27% higher than 182,892 units in December 2019. The domestic sales dropped 9% to 139,606 in December 2020 as against 153,163 units in December 2019.
The company has sold 338,584 units of motorcycles during December 2020, as compared to 284,802 in December 2019, an increase of 19% YoY. Exports of motorcycles was 31% higher YoY at 209,942 in December 2020, as against 160,677 in December 2019. Whereas, the domestic sales of motorcycles increased 4% YoY to 128,642 units in December 2020 as compared to 124,125 units in December 2019.
Commercial Vehicles sales dropped 34% YoY to 33,948 units in December 2020, as compared to 51,253 in December 2019. Exports of Commercial Vehicles was at 22,984 units in December 2020, as against 22,215 in December 2019. Domestic sales of Commercial Vehicles dropped 62% in December 2020 to 10,964 units as compared to 29,038 units in December 2019.
