Wonderla Kochi is all set to open its door exclusively for frontline workers during the Warrior's Week

Wonderla Holidays Ltd, India's leading amusement park, is set to open its doors to frontline workers. Warrior's Week is an initiative by Wonderla to thank the COVID-19 frontline workers for their tremendous efforts during the pandemic. Wonderla is honouring their services and inviting 10,000 COVID -19 frontline workers including their family members to the Kochi Park for a fun -filled day from 20th to 23rd December 2020. During the Warrior's Week, they will get free entry to the park and can access all the dry/land rides and free lunch, tea, and snacks.

As part of the initiative, Wonderla is inviting 2,500 frontline workers to visit the theme park from 20th to 23rd December. Each frontline worker can bring up to 3 family members or friends to the park. The invitees will include frontline warriors from across various departments including doctors, nurses, attendees, ambulance drivers, cleaning staff, policemen, bankers, delivery executives, teachers, journalists, will visit the park during the Warrior's Week.

Wonderla Kochi will operate at a reduced daily capacity of 2,500 visitors, following the advisory on social distancing issued by the Ministry of Health and WHO.

Commenting on the initiative, Arun Chittilappilly, Managing Director, Wonderla Holidays Ltd, said, "This is a small token of gratitude from Wonderla family to honour our frontline workers for their selfless services during the unprecedented times. It is only due to their tireless efforts that we can bring back fun and frolic to the public, of course, with all the necessary precautions and safety measures in place. As the economy opens and businesses resume, we look forward to offering our COVID-19 warriors an opportunity to unwind and relax".

As part of Warrior's Week, Wonderla in Bangalore invited 12,000 warriors to the Bangalore amusement park in November. A similar initiative has been planned in Hyderabad as well and across three cities Wonderla will be hosting 32,000 frontline workers at their amusement parks.

Shares of Wonderla Holidays Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs.213.05 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 215.55. The total number of shares traded during the day was 41529 in over 1600 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 223 and intraday low of 211.2. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 9012716.
