Bajaj Auto reports 11% YoY growth in sales to 512,038 units during October 2020

Bajaj Auto Limited has announced the sales performance for the month of October 2020. The company has reported total sales of 512,038 units in October 2020 as against 463,208 units in October 2019, registering a growth of 11% YoY. The company clocked its highest ever exports sales of 230,878 units during October 2020, 25% higher than 184,432 units in October 2019.

The company has sold 470,290 units of motorcycles during October 2020, as compared to 398,913 in October 2019, an increase of 18% YoY. This was highest ever sales and Pulsar brand recorded highest ever sale of over 170,000 units. Exports of motorcycles was 29% higher YoY at 201,659 in October 2020, as against 156,397 in October 2019. Whereas, the domestic sales of motorcycles increased 11% YoY to 268,631 units in October 2020 as compared to 242,516 units in October 2019. The exports sales was the highest ever till date.

Commercial Vehicles sales dropped 44% YoY to 36455 units in October 2020, as compared to 65305 in October 2019. Exports of Commercial Vehicles was at 27224 units in October 2020, as against 27152 in October 2019. Domestic sales of Commercial Vehicles dropped 76% in October 2020 to 9231 units as compared to 38153 units in October 2019.

Shares of BAJAJ AUTO LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.2886.45 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 2926.3. The total number of shares traded during the day was 17497 in over 2593 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 2961.8 and intraday low of 2880. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 51095440.
