Eicher Motors Ltd's heavy vehicle sales in Sep 2020 drops 7.3% YoY

Eicher Motors Ltd has announced the sales figures for Eicher Trucks and Buses & Volvo Trucks for the month of September 2020. The company has sold 3506 vehicles during September 2020, as against 3784 in September 2019 registering a drop of 7.3% YoY.

The company has sold 3450 Eicher Trucks and Buses in September 2020, as compared to 3673 in September 2019, lower by 6.1% YoY. The domestic sales of Eicher Trucks and Buses stood at 2940 units in September 2020, 6.4% lower as against 3140 units in September 2019. The exports of Eicher Trucks and Buses dropped 4.3% YoY to 510 units in September 2020, as compared to 533 units in September 2019.

The company has sold 56 Volvo Trucks during September 2020, a drop of 49.5% YoY as against 111 units in September 2019.

Shares of EICHER MOTORS LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.2196.6 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 2200.85. The total number of shares traded during the day was 36814 in over 2619 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 2230 and intraday low of 2183.25. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 81234158.
