Bajaj Auto reports 10% YoY growth in sales during September 2020

Bajaj Auto Limited has announced the sales performance for the month of September 2020. The company has reported total sales of 441306 units in September 2020 as against 402035 units in September 2019, registering a growth of 10% YoY.

The company has sold 404851 units of motorcycles during September 2020, as compared to 336730 in September 2019, an increase of 20% YoY. Exports of motorcycles was 16% higher YoY at 185351 in September 2020, as against 159382 in September 2019. Whereas, the domestic sales of motorcycles increased 24% YoY to 219500 units in September 2020 as compared to 177348 units in September 2019. The exports sales was the highest ever till date.

Commercial Vehicles sales dropped 44% YoY to 36455 units in September 2020, as compared to 65305 in September 2019. Exports of Commercial Vehicles was at 27224 units in September 2020, as against 27152 in September 2019. Domestic sales of Commercial Vehicles dropped 76% in September 2020 to 9231 units as compared to 38153 units in September 2019.

Shares of BAJAJ AUTO LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.2879.5 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 2898.9. The total number of shares traded during the day was 60854 in over 6119 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 2938 and intraday low of 2870.95. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 177120875.
