JBM Auto bags 116 BS6 AC Low Floor CNG Bus Order from Delhi Integrated Multi-Modal Transit System

JBM Auto Ltd. has bagged the country's first BS6 complaint AC low floor CNG bus order for New Delhi from Delhi Integrated Multi-Modal Transit System (DIMTS). JBM Auto will be supplying 116 CITYLIFE BS6 buses to Operator which will be running under the DIMTS Cluster in New Delhi. Deliveries of the first batch of these buses shall start this month end onwards.

Early this year, Delhi witnessed the addition of 100 854 low-floor air-conditioned JBM CITYLIFE buses under the cluster scheme which were flagged off by Hon'ble Chief Minister of Delhi, Shri. Arvind Kejriwal. These blue buses were the first air-conditioned low floor ones under the cluster scheme.

These buses manufactured by JBM Auto Ltd. run on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and are equipped with all modern features like Smart Card Ticketing system, Real Time Passenger Information System (PIS), Intelligent Transport Management System (ITMS), Automatic Bus Vehicle Location System, CCTV cameras, public address system and stop request buttons, wheel chair ramp to name a few.

JBM CITYLIFE bus incorporates other utility features such as Vehicle Health Monitoring System, Fire Detection & Suppression System, Intelligent Transport Management System (ITMS), etc. The buses also have features like independent front suspension, electronic braking system, CCTV cameras, public address system and kneeling mechanism, wherein the bus kneels 60mm towards the passengers' door side to facilitate boarding and de-boarding of senior citizens, children and the specially abled. For drivers, the ergonomically designed dashboard provides an intuitive and user-friendly system that allows drivers to concentrate on driving without distractions, which make it a truly global product.

Shares of JBM AUTO LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.230 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 229.75. The total number of shares traded during the day was 2136 in over 185 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 237.25 and intraday low of 229.8. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 501088.
