Eicher Motors Ltd's heavy vehicle sales drops 30% YoY

Eicher Motors Ltd has announced the sales figures for Eicher Trucks and Buses & Volvo Trucks for the month of August 2020. The company has sold 2477 vehicles during August 2020, as against 3538 in August 2019 registering a drop of 30% YoY.

The company has sold 2440 Eicher Trucks and Buses in August 2020, as compared to 3462 in August 2019, lower by 29.5% YoY. The domestic sales of Eicher Trucks and Buses stood at 2190 units in August 2020, 30.3% lower as compared to 3144 units in August 2019. The exports of Eicher Trucks and Buses dropped 21.4% YoY to 250 units in August 2020, as against 318 units in August 2019.

The company has sold 37 Volvo Trucks during August 2020, a drop of 51.3% YoY as against 76 units in August 2019.

Shares of EICHER MOTORS LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.2099.25 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 2212.8. The total number of shares traded during the day was 82018 in over 8273 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 2229.85 and intraday low of 2073.7. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 175625784.
