Mcdowell & Company Ltd has announced that October 27, 2006 has been fixed as the Record Date for the purpose of determining the names of shareholders of Herbertsons Ltd, who shall be eligible for the Equity Shares / Preference shares of Mcdowell & Company Ltd as per the Composite Scheme of Arrangement approved by the Hon'ble High Courts of Karnataka and Bombay.
