Mazda Board Meeting on Oct 19, 2006 for Half-yearly results

Mazda Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on October 19, 2006, inter alia, to consider the following business:

1. To approve the quarterly and half yearly unaudited results subjected to limited review by the auditors of the Company for the quarter and the half year ended on September 30, 2006.

2. To decide Record date for the purpose of consolidation of five shares of Rs 2 each into one share of Rs 10 each.

3. To give authority to one of the director to purchase the shares of the shareholders holding less than five shares for the purpose of giving effect to the consolidation.
