Eicher Motors Ltd reports 26% fall in sales of Royal Enfield Motorcycles during July 2020

Eicher Motors Ltd has announced the sales figures of Royal Enfield motorcycles for the month of July 2020. The company has sold 40334 motorcycles during July 2020, as compared to 54185 units in July 2019, a drop of 26% YoY.

The company has sold 36384 units of models with engine capacity upto 350cc in July 2020 as against 45041 units in July 2019, registering a drop of 19% YoY.

The company has sold 3950 units of models with engine capacity exceeding 350cc during July 2020 as compared to 9144 units in July 2019, a drop of 57% YoY.

Exports stood at 2409 units in July 2020 as against 5003 units in July 2019, a drop of 52% YoY.

Shares of EICHER MOTORS LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.20639.05 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 21173.55. The total number of shares traded during the day was 5586 in over 2295 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 21498.65 and intraday low of 20575.7. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 117036687.
