Grasim Industries Limited allots 8779 shares

The Stakeholders' Relationship Committee of the Board of Directors of Grasim Industries Limited has approved allotment of 8,779 equity shares of Rs. 2 each of the Company upon exercise of Options under the Company's Employee Stock Option Scheme 2006 and Employee Stock Option Scheme 2013.

These shares shall rank pari passu with the existing equity shares of the Company in all respects and shall be subject to the provisions of the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the Company.

Consequent to the above allotment, the equity share capital of the Company stands increased to 65,76,17,819 equity shares of Rs. 2 each aggregating to Rs. 1,31,52,35,638.

Shares of GRASIM INDUSTRIES LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.922.55 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 941.85. The total number of shares traded during the day was 81887 in over 1656 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 949.85 and intraday low of 917.35. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 76611182.
