JB Chemicals launches "Auster" - a new speciality division

JB Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd has announced that the Company has launched a new speciality division christened "AUSTER" (means south wind that bring health and prosperity).

The new Speaciality Division will primarily focus on therapeutic segments of Cardiology, Orthopedic and Gastroentrology. The Company has already launched the premium products in each of these therapeutic segments. The Company will promote and market the brands through its own marketing team using its strength in these core areas. Currently the total market size of Cardiology, Orthopedic and Gastroentrology is Rs 29,000 million as per AC Nielsen ORG-MARG and the same is growing by more than 16% p.a.

The Company has already recruited a fleet of about 180 marketing personnel to implement its proposed marketing plans. This number will be gradually increased to 225 in due course of time. With this the total marketing fleet of the Company would increase to 625.

This will help the Company to increase its therapeutic representation, fill-up the therapy gap, though new product introduction and brand extension and increase its prescription strike rate resulting into increased market share and consequently overall growth of the Company.

On the occasion of the launch, Shri.
