Color Chips acquires Millitoon

Color Chips India Ltd has informed BSE that the Company has acquired Millitoon Animations Pvt Ltd, Chennai. Milhitoon Animations Pvt Ltd was a 100% subsidiary of European Animation major Millimages, France and has produced 2000 hours popular animation content which was aired by major channels across Europe and US. The content produced by Millitoon includes popular series like Lazy Lucy, Paplo the Little Kid Fox (Winner of British Academy Film Television Award) 64 Zoo Lane, Ethel Bert, the Little Tiger, Vampire, Pirates and Aliens, Talis and the Thousand Tales, Pigeon Boy, World of Pets etc. With this acquisition, the Company has attained the status of largest producer of animation content in India and is eyeing many more such acquisitions in future.
