Karur Vysya Bank surged during the day´s trading to close at Rs.581.7, up by 8.86%.
The bank has informed that the board of directors will meet on May 25, 2006 to take on record the audited financial results of the bank for year ended March 31, 2006 and to issue bonus / rights issue of equity shares.
151333 shares were traded during the day. The turnover stood at Rs.899.08 Lakhs.
The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.629 and low of Rs.547.
