Central India announces Record Date for amalgamation

Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd (IPCL) has announced that October 12, 2006 has been fixed as the Record Date for the purpose of determining shareholders of Central India Polyesters Ltd who will be entitled to receive Equity Shares of IPCL in terms of the Scheme of Amalgamation of the Company with Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd.
