AK Capital allots shares to FirstRand Public Ltd Company, Ireland

AK Capital Services Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on October 13, 2007, inter alia, has considered & transacted the following business:

1. Allotted 8,00,000 (Eight lac) fully paid up equity shares of Rs 10 (Rupees Ten) each to FirstRand (Ireland) Public Limited Company at a premium of Rs 215 (Rupees two hundred fifteen) per equity share.

2. Allotted 8,00,000 Convertible Cumulative Preference shares of the Company at Rs 225 (Rupees two hundred twenty five) each for cash to FirstRand (Ireland) Public Limited Company.

3. Allotted 30,00,000 (thirty lac) Convertible Warrants at Rs 225 (Rupees two hundred twenty five) per warrant to the promoter group and others in accordance with Special Resolution passed in the 14th Annual General Meeting of the Company.

4. Mr. Srinath Srinivasan was appointed as nominee of FirstRand (Ireland) Public Limited Company, as Additional Director of the Company.
