Tata Sponge Iron AGM approves 40% dividend

Tata Sponge Iron Ltd has announced that the members at the 23rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company held on August 08, 2006, inter alia, have approved the declaration of dividend at the rate of 40% on the fully paid equity share capital of the Company for the year ended March 31, 2006.
