Nagarjuna Construction Allots Bonus Shares

Nagarjuna Construction Company Ltd has announced that the Executive Committee of the Board has at its meeting held on September 23, 2006 has allotted 10,33,68,530 fully paid Bonus Equity Shares of Rs 2/- each aggregating to Rs 20,67,37,060/- by capitalization of General Reserves in the ratio of one equity share for every one equity share held by those members whose names appear in the Register of Members / Register of Beneficiaries as on September 21, 2006 being the record date fixed for the issue of Bonus Shares.

The shareholders of the company had earlier at their Annual General Meeting held on August 31, 2006, accorded their approval for issue of aforesaid Bonus Shares.
