Shilchar Electronics to consider scheme of arrangement

Shilchar Electronics Ltd has announced that a Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on September 29, 2006, inter alia, to consider the proposal relating to a Scheme of Arrangement in the nature of merger of Shilchar Payton Technologies Ltd (its wholly owned subsidiary Company) to the Company (Holding Company).
