Pan Packaging to enter real estate business

Pan Packaging Industries Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on September 21, 2006, has approved the alteration in object clause of the Memorandum of Association of the Company so as to include the business of developing real estates and infrastructure facilities etc in its Main Object and to change the name of the Company from its present name to 'Alchemist Realty Ltd’, subject to the approval of shareholders of the Company through Postal Ballot.

The Board of Directors has appointed Mr. Upendra Shukla, Practising Company Secretary, as Scrutinizer for conducting Postal Ballot process in a fair and transparent manner.

The Postal Ballot form duly completed should reach the Scrutinizer on or before the close of the working hours on October 25, 2006. The Scrutinizer will submit his report to the Chairman / Board of Directors after completion of the scrutiny and the result of the Postal Ballot will be announced on October 27, 2006.
