Compact Disc withdraws Scheme of Amalgamation with Global Internet

Compact Disc India Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on July 31, 2006 has decided to withdraw the scheme of amalgamation of Global Internet Ltd and Seengal International Ltd, with the Company, previously approved by the Board of Directors of the Company in their meeting held on November 18, 2005 due to unavoidable circumstances. The Board passed a resolution to this effect.
