IID Forgings equity shareholders to approve Scheme of Amalgamation

IID Forgings Ltd has informed BSE that the pursuant to the order of the Hon'ble High Court of Judicature at Bombay, a meeting of the equity shareholders of the Company will be held on October 13, 2006, for the purpose of considering and if thought fit, approving, with or without modification, the arrangement embodied in the Scheme of Amalgamation between BDP India Pvt Ltd with the Company and their respective shareholders and creditors.
