Sun Pharmaceutical AGM approves 110% dividend

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd has announced that the members at the 14th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company held on September 20, 2006, inter alia, have approved the payment of Dividend @ 6% p.a. on 6% Cumulative Redeemable Preference Shares of Re 1/- each on its paid-up value for the year ended March 31, 2006.

Payment of Dividend at the rate of Rs 5.50 per equity shares of Rs 5/- each (i.e. 110%) on Equity Shares for the year ended March 31, 2006.
