FIITJEE to conduct Seminar cum Counselling from 21st to 29th Sep 2015 for JEE Aspirants from NE states

In view of overwhelming requests from JEE aspirants from NE States, FIITJEE has decided to conduct special counselling and goal setting seminars at selected schools in North Bengal and Assam area. FIITJEE team will visit these areas from 21st-29th Sep 2015.

FIITJEE is India's premier institute for enthusiasts aspiring to achieve good ranks in JEE. As a socially responsible educational institution, FIITJEE provides various scholarships and cash waivers to meritorious students coming from economically weaker background.

The counselling sessions and goal setting seminars by the FIITJEE team will be conducted in two phase. In the first phase, the team will hold sessions at some off the most prominent boarding schools of India in Siliguri, Darjeeling, Kalimpong, and Kursiang. The team will visit these areas from 21st - 24th Sep 2015, for a period of 04 days. During the visit, FIITJEE members will interact with students as well as faculty members, understand their problems and suggest various methods to scientifically prepare and plan the studies. Students will also be guided on various tools required to enhance self-learning abilities and test their potential at regular intervals. In addition to this, existing faculty members of these schools will also be given valuable suggestions on goal oriented teaching.

In the second phase, the team will conduct these sessions in Guwahati, Tezpur, and Shillong, including nearby areas.

There are several schools in North East India that are connected with FIITJEE through their prestigious Non Classroom Programs. As a result, a large number of students have even succeeded in various competitive examinations like IIT-JEE, KVPY, NTSE, Olympiads and other state and national level engineering entrance examinations. The team will also conduct one to one session with the students as a part of their goal setting and doubt removal meeting.

He further added "These seminars are not limited to few partner schools, but are also open to other schools as well, especially the ones who want to attain benefit."
