Amrit Banaspati Board Meeting on Jul 24, 2007

Amrit Banaspati Company Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company on will be held on July 24, 2007, inter alia, to consider allotment of equity shares, as provided in the Scheme of Arrangement. Under the Scheme of Arrangement between the Company, ABC Paper Ltd and Amrit Enterprises Ltd coming into effect on June 23, 2007 and as provided therein, the equity share capital is being re-organized and 32,13,231 equity shares of Rs 10/- each will be allotted to the shareholders of the Company holding shares as on the "Record Date" i.e. July 20, 2007, in proportion of 1 equity share of Rs 10/- each fully paid up for every 4 existing equity shares of Rs 10/- each held by shareholders.
