Ess Dee Aluminium to launch a series of anti-counterfeit and anti-spurious packaging options

Ess Dee Aluminium Ltd has announced that in August 2007 the Company will launch a series of anti-counterfeit and anti-spurious packaging options, which will contribute in a major way in facilitating the efforts of the pharmaceutical industry, in tackling this menace.

The Company is poised to traverse new horizons. It has now been entrusted with the task of providing specialized aluminium foil based laminates for large contraceptive brands. With this, EDAL is well on course towards emerging as a leading player in the contraceptive laminate requirement both in the domestic as well as international markets.

The stock was trading at Rs.544, up by Rs.18.25 or 3.47%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.550 and low of Rs.515. The total traded quantity was 64129 compared to 2 week average of 67192.
