Dhunseri Tea to consider merger of Tezpore Tea

Dhunseri Tea & Industries Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on July 30, 2007, inter alia, to consider and take on record the Unaudited Financial Results of the Company for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.

Further the Company has informed that, it is also proposed to consider at the said above meeting, the proposal for merger / amalgamation of M/s. Tezpore Tea Company Ltd with the Company.

The stock was trading at Rs.77, up by Rs.2 or 2.67%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.80.50 and low of Rs.76. The total traded quantity was 13168 compared to 2 week average of 7713.
