FACT reports lower Q1 net loss of Rs.46.36 Crores

Fertilizers & Chemicals Travancore Ltd (FACT) has announced the unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.

The Company has posted a net loss of Rs 463.60 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 as compared to net loss of Rs 568.00 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006. Total Income has increased from Rs 2583.70 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 to Rs 3289.10 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.

The company has reported an Earnings Per Share (EPS) of Rs.-0.71 for the Quarter ending June 30, 2007 compared to Rs.-0.87 for Quarter ending June 30, 2006.

The stock was trading at Rs.23.55, down by Rs.1.75 or 6.92%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.25.25 and low of Rs.23.55. The total traded quantity was 34878 compared to 2 week average of 69938.
