CCS Infotech Awarded ISO 14001:2004 Certification

CCS Infotech Ltd has announced that it has been awarded ISO 14001:2004 certification by TUV South Asia Pvt Ltd a certified body of TUV SUD Management Service GmbH, Germany. The certification recognizes the environmental safeguards, procedures and management systems in place at the Company's factory in Pondicherry.

TUV had assessed the Company's Environmental management system at its factory in Pondicherry,. The scope of certification is the Company follows the standards set by the certification body at their factory at Pondicherry, where they manufacture Desktops, Servers and Workstations.

Commenting on the award, Mr. Hasan Abdul Kader, Managing director, of the Company said, "While the customer has always enjoyed the quality and value out of our offerings, this certification is to ensure that our processes are environmental friendly as per the standards of ISO 14001:2004."

"The Value proposition that accompanies this certification can now bring further peace of mind to the customers of our products, while bringing us on par with international standards. We have been able to achieve this with the faith imposed on us by the customers." Mr. Kader added.

To achieve ISO 14001:2004 certification, a Company must establish and maintain a detailed environmental management system which allows it to identify and take required actions that reduce environmental and health risks, while consistently improving its environmental performance.
