Unichem Laboratories Ltd Quarterly profit down 10.60% to Rs.224.97 Million

Unichem Laboratories Ltd has announced the unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.

The Company has posted a profit after tax of Rs.224.97 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 as compared to Rs.251.64 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006. Total Income has increased from Rs.1392.29 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 to Rs.1540.65 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.

The company has reported an Earnings Per Share (EPS) of Rs.6.24 for quarter ending June 30, 2007 compared to Rs.6.99 for quarter ending June 30, 2006.

The stock closed the day at Rs.252, up by Rs.7 or 2.86%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.262 and low of Rs.245. The total traded quantity was 56590 compared to 2 week average of 13763.
