Aban Offshore Ltd Quarterly profit up 48.71% to Rs.28.37 Crores

Aban Offshore Ltd has announced the unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.

The Company has posted a profit after tax of Rs.283.75 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 as compared to Rs.190.8 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006. Total Income has increased from Rs.1270.42 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 to Rs.1430.35 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.

The company has reported an Earnings Per Share (EPS) of Rs.6.65 for quarter ending June 30, 2007 compared to Rs.5.18 for quarter ending June 30, 2006.

Rlg Aban II commenced its new contract, after the refurbishment process, on May 27, 2007.

The stock was trading at Rs.3015, down by Rs.14.25 or 0.47%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.3060 and low of Rs.3001. The total traded quantity was 11644 compared to 2 week average of 18308.
