Vakrangee Softwares Ltd Quarterly Profits up 128.23% YOY to Rs.55.69 Million

Vakrangee Softwares Ltd has announced the UnAudited Financial Results for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.

The Company has posted a profit after taxes of Rs.55.69 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 where as the same was at Rs.24.4 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006. Total Income is Rs.328.69 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 where as the same was at Rs.169.2 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006.

The company reported an Earnings Per Share (EPS) of Rs.2.91 for Quarter ended June 30, 2007 compared to Rs.2.36 reported during Q1 2006-2007.

Vakrangee Electronics Ltd. (VEL), the subsidiary of the Company has not yet started commercial activities and there is no income generated during the quarter, hence consolidation of the results of the Company and its subsidiary for the quarter has not been made.

The stock was trading at Rs.179.20, up by Rs.4.75 or 2.72%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.182.75 and low of Rs.175.30. The total traded quantity was 199418 compared to 2 week average of 100579.
