IFGL Refractories Unit II of Orissa plant sealed by State Pollution Control Board

IFGL Refractories Ltd has announced that pursuant to a Direction issued by the State Pollution Control Board, Orissa, mix section of Unit II of the Company was sealed on July 05, 2007. The Company is committed to abide by all statutory obligations including regulations relating to pollution control. It has made appropriate submissions to OSPCB for removal of said sealing at the earliest. Meanwhile, suitable steps have been taken to minimize adverse effect resulting therefore.

The stock closed the day at Rs.62.85, down by Rs.2.55 or 3.90%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.70.50 and low of Rs.61. The total traded quantity was 8685 compared to 2 week average of 2613.
